The Waikhom Mani Girls’ College located at Thoubal Okram, Thoubal District, Manipur, 18 km. away from Imphal city, was established on 20th November 1980 with great enthusiasm by the local people, educationist and social workers for promotion of female higher education where the women literacy rate is very low in comparison to those of urban areas. The College has been reaccredited to B+ Grade with a CGPA score 2.74 in its second cycle of NAAC assessment held in March, 2023.
